Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1/2 3/4
- cornstarch - 1 item
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- clove garlic - 1 item
- stalks celery - 2 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- white pepper to taste - 1 item
- thyme - 1 tsp
- scallops - 1 lb
- to 4 medium carrots - 3 item
- to 3 medium onions - 2 item
How to make scallop soup:
Saut?© scallops in butter with garlic. While saut?©ing scallops, dice celery, carrots and onions. Heat chicken broth. Add seasonings, vegetables and scallops. Bring to a boil. Lower heat to simmer and cook for about 45 minutes (until vegetables are tender enough to be pierced with a fork). Add half and half. Cook approximately another 15 minutes.
