Scallop bisque
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- scallops - 1 lb
- whole garlic clove - 1 item
- Spice Bag:6 peppercorns
How to make scallop bisque:
Spice Bag:6 peppercorns1 whole garlic clove1 bay leaf Rinse scallops and chop into 1/2-inch pieces. Cook onion in butter or margarine until tender. Blend in flour and gradually add milk. Cook over low heat stirring until slightly thickened. Add salt, pepper, spice bag and scallops. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Remove spice bag before serving.
