  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • cold water - 2 c
  • coconut - 1 item
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • large container Cool Whip - 1 item
  • pineapple juice - 1/2 c
  • mini marshmallows - 2 c
  • large bananas, sliced - 2 item
  • large box orange jello - 1 item
  • can crushed pineapple, drained save juice - 1 item

How to make sawdust salad:

Dissolve jello in water; set aside to jell slightly. Add drained pineapple and sliced bananas. Pour into long cake pan. Cover top completely with marshmallows; set aside to jell. Mix well the flour, sugar, butter, egg and pineapple juice. Cook over medium heat until thick; remove from stove. Add cream cheese and mix well. Set aside to cool, then add Cool Whip. Mix together well and spread on top of jello. Sprinkle with coconut.
