Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 5 Tbsp
  • cold water
  • hot water - 2 c
  • miniature marshmallows
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 20 oz
  • Dream Whip - 2 pkg
  • pineapple juice - 2 c
  • small box lemon jello - 1 item
  • small box orange jello - 1 item
  • shredded Longhorn cheese - 1 c
  • Add pineapple and cold water
  • Cool, then spread on top of the first layer

How to make sawdust salad:

Dissolve jello in hot water. Add pineapple and cold water. Pour into baking dish. Put marshmallows on top and refrigerate until firm.Layer 2:2 beaten eggs1 c. sugar5 Tbsp. flour2 c. pineapple juice Cook these ingredients together until thick. Cool, then spread on top of the first layer.Layer 3:8 oz. cream cheese1 c. milk1 c. shredded Longhorn cheese2 pkg. Dream Whip Mix Dream Whip with milk until stiff; add cream cheese. Spread on second layer and sprinkle with Longhorn cheese. (You can use graham cracker crumbs on top instead of Longhorn cheese.) Chill.
