Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- ketchup - 1 c
- 13 oz - 2 lb
- medium onions, cut into chunks - 2 item
- lean bacon, cut into pieces - 1 lb
- large green peppers, cut into chunks - 2 item
How to make savory baked beans:
Combine all ingredients and put into baking pan. Bake, covered, in slow oven (325°) for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Uncover the last 30 minutes of cooking.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, Tomato.
