Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 item
- bread crumbs, toasted - 1/2 c
- pizza or spaghetti sauce - 1/2 c
- bulk sausage, cooked - 1 lb
- to 40 large fresh mushrooms, stemmed - 30 item
How to make sausage stuffed mushrooms:
Dip mushrooms in butter. Stuff with mixture of sausage, bread crumbs, sauce and egg. Top with a 1-inch square of sliced Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Serve at once.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Pork, Pork sausage.
