Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 1/4 c
- parsley, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- Swiss cheese, grated - 1/2 c
- sausage, pork hot or regular - 1 lb
- liquid hot pepper sauce do not use if hot sausage is used - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk pancake mix or biscuit mix - 2 c
How to make sausage squares:
Cook sausage and onion over low heat until meat is browned. Drain. Add cheese, egg, liquid hot pepper sauce, salt and parsley. Make a dough by mixing the biscuit mix with the milk and mayonnaise.
