- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- cans chicken broth - 2 3/4
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- bulk hot sausage - 1 lb
How to make sausage-rice casserole:
Brown sausage in heavy skillet. Add celery, onion and green pepper; simmer until tender. Add broth, rice and seasonings. Stir to mix. Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork sausage.
