  • salt
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • cans chicken broth - 2 3/4
  • chopped green pepper - 1 c
  • uncooked rice - 1 c
  • bulk hot sausage - 1 lb

How to make sausage-rice casserole:

Brown sausage in heavy skillet. Add celery, onion and green pepper; simmer until tender. Add broth, rice and seasonings. Stir to mix. Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour.
