Sausage egg bake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- milk
- dry mustard - 3/4 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- slices bread - 10 item
- grated sharp Cheddar - 2 c
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make sausage egg bake:
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Put cubed bread in bottom. Top with cheese. Brown and drain sausage. Place on top of cheese. Beat eggs with milk and mustard and pour over. Refrigerate overnight. Dilute mushroom soup with 1/2 cup milk and pour over casserole. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or more.This casserole was served at the St. George Cemetary Expansion Breakfast.
