Ingredients/Components
- hot water
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1/3 c
- rice - 1/2 c
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1/2 item
- celery, finely chopped - 1 c
- bulk sausage
- chicken noodle soup mix - 1 pkg
How to make sausage casserole:
Brown sausage, pepper, celery and onion. Drain. Combine soup mix, rice, broth and water. Add sausage mixture and blend well. Place in casserole. Sprinkle almonds on top. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork.
