Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 item
- water
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalk celery, chopped - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- rice uncooked - 1/2 c
- envelopes Lipton chicken noodle soup - 2 item
- sausage mild - 1 lb
How to make sausage casserole:
Cook in a saucepan for 8 minutes, soup, rice and water. Chop together celery, bell pepper and onion; saute in butter. Cook sausage and drain well. Combine all ingredients (except almonds) and place in casserole. Add 1/2 cup almonds. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 3/4 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork.
