Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- half and half - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1 item
- slices bread - 6 item
- Cheddar cheese - 5 8
- breakfast sausage - 1 lb
How to make sausage casserole:
Cut crust off bread; butter on both sides. Lay in 9 x 13-inch pan, covering bottom of pan. Mix eggs, half and half and salt together; set aside.Brown in pan sausage; drain and crumble over bread. Pour egg mixture over sausage. Grate cheese; sprinkle over top. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Uncover and bake at 350° about 35 minutes.
