Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese - 8 oz
- large onion - 1 item
- large bell pepper - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- jar mushrooms - 1 item
- crackers - 1 pkg
- hot sausage - 1 lb
- yellow rice - 1 pkg
- jar pimento, diced - 1 item
How to make sausage casserole:
Cook sausage; drain and set aside. Cook yellow rice without butter. Chop onion and pepper. While rice is hot, add cheese. Mix melted butter with cracker crumbs. Layer bottom of 9 x 13-inch dish with crumb mixture. Mix together sausage and remaining ingredients; pour into dish.
