Sausage breakfast casserole



  • milk
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • to 8 eggs - 7 item
  • to 8 slices bread, crusts removed and spread with margarine, cubed - 7 item
  • bulk cooked sausage, crumbled and drained - 1 lb

How to make sausage breakfast casserole:

In a 3-quart casserole dish place the bread and top with sausage and cheese. In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard, beating well. Pour the mixture over the casserole and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours. Bake in a 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serves 12.
