- slices bread - 6 item
- butter - 1 item
- pork sausage - 1 lb
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard optional - 1 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 1
How to make sausage breakfast casserole:
Remove crust from bread; spread with butter on both sides. Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cook sausage until crumbly; drain well. Spoon sausage over bread; sprinkle with cheese. Combine eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard; mix well and pour over cheese. Cover pan; chill overnight.
