Sausage balls
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- sage - 1/4 tsp
- chili sauce - 1/4 c
- slightly beaten egg - 1 item
- pork sausage - 1 lb
- Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- Shape into balls about the size of a quarter
How to make sausage balls:
Combine all throughly. Shape into balls about the size of a quarter. (I do mine smaller.) Brown in a skillet on all sides. Drain on paper towel. Pour off grease and add the sauce to skillet.Sauce:1/4 c. ketchup1/4 c. chili sauce1 Tbsp. soy sauce2 Tbsp. brown sugar1 Tbsp. vinegar1/2 c. water Combine ingredients to make sauce. Return meatballs to skillet. Pour sauce over meatballs and simmer for 60 minutes. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to serve.
