Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 12 oz
  • margarine or butter - 8 oz
  • paprika - 2 tsp
  • sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
  • sausage - 2 lb

How to make sausage balls:

Form sausage into 100 (1-inch) balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Combine 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese (softened or grated), margarine or butter, flour, salt and paprika. Wrap 2 tablespoons (No. 70 dipper) of dough around each sausage ball. Freeze at this point, if desired. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
