  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • slices bread, cubed - 2 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • grated sharp Cheddar - 1 c
  • ground sausage - 1 lb
  • drop Tabasco sauce - 1 item

How to make sausage and egg puff:

In a skillet, brown sausage, breaking up any large lumps. Drain. In a 2-quart casserole, layer sausage, bread and cheese. In a bowl, beat eggs with remaining ingredients. Pour over layers in casserole. Cover and refrigerate 12 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, uncovered.
