Ingredients/Components

  • half and half - 2 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 5 item
  • Swiss cheese, grated - 1 c
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
  • sausage, cooked and drained - 1 lb
  • sliced mushrooms fresh - 1/2 c
  • to 8 slices cubed white bread no crust - 6 item

How to make sausage and cheese souffle:

Lightly grease an oblong casserole dish. Place bread cubes in bottom of dish in a single layer. Sprinkle sausage and mushrooms on bread; top with cheeses. Combine eggs, half and half and spices. Pour over all; refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.
