Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- celery - 1 c
- green pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- sauerkraut - 1 qt
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Drain kraut. Pour sugar on and let set 1 hour (overnight works good). Chop or grind the onion, pepper and celery. Add all ingredients to kraut and refrigerate. Can be frozen and still taste good.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
