Sauerkraut salad



  • sugar
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • celery - 1 c
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • large onion - 1 item
  • sauerkraut - 1 qt

How to make sauerkraut salad:

Drain kraut. Pour sugar on and let set 1 hour (overnight works good). Chop or grind the onion, pepper and celery. Add all ingredients to kraut and refrigerate. Can be frozen and still taste good.
