Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- onions, chopped - 1/2 c
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- green peppers, chopped - 1/2 c
- small jar pimentos, chopped - 1 item
- sauerkraut, squeezed and drained good
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Heat sugar and vinegar until sugar dissolves; cool, then add 1/2 cup oil. Mix. Cool and eat.Note: I like chopped kraut the best. You can use shredded. Really good with white beans and corn bread.
