Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- celery seed - 1/8 tsp
- chopped bell pepper - 1 c
- kraut - 1 lb
- diced pimento or shredded carrot - 3 tsp
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Drain kraut; place in bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well. Store, covered, in refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
