Ingredients/Components

  • large can sauerkraut, drained and chopped - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • chopped pimento - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped green pepper - 2 Tbsp
  • hard-boiled egg, chopped - 1 item
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • Frosting:1 8 oz
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • whole olives green and black, garnish - 1 item
  • parsley for garnish - 1 item

How to make sauerkraut balls:

Combine all ingredients and form into balls.Frosting:1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese2 Tbsp. milk whole olives (green and black, garnish) parsley for garnish Mix all ingredients. Ice balls with cheese mixture, garnish and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
