  • sugar - 2 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1/2 lb
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • baking powder - 2 tsp

How to make sand tarts:

Cream the sugar and butter; add the rest of the ingredients. (Batter will be fairly stiff.) Cover and refrigerate overnight or for several hours. Roll out on floured board about 1/8-inch thick. Cut into any shape you desire and bake at 350° on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Check after 8 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen.
