Salted peanut chews



  • Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • margarine or butter - 1/3 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • bag mini marshmallows - 1 item
  • Pour into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • pkg - 12 oz
  • Rice Krispies - 2 c
  • salted peanuts - 2 c

How to make salted peanut chews:

Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in oven at 350° for 12 to 18 minutes or until light brown.

Take out of oven and while still hot, spread 1 bag of mini marshmallows over cake. Place back into the oven for 2 minutes or until marshmallows begin to fluff. Take out and allow to cool.Topping:2/3 c. Karo corn syrup1/4 c. margarine or butter2 tsp. vanilla12 oz. pkg. peanut butter chips2 c. Rice Krispies2 c. salted peanuts In a large saucepan, heat Karo corn syrup, margarine, vanilla and peanut butter chips. Stir until melted and remove from heat. Add 2 cups of Rice Krispies and 2 cups salted peanuts. Spread topping over marshmallows and chill. Cut into bars and enjoy.
