Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped onion - 4 c
- chili powder
- alum - 1 tsp
- chopped tomatoes - 16 c
- white pepper - 2 tsp
- cumin - 2 tsp
- white vinegar
- pickling salt - 1/3 c
- jalapeno pepper, chopped - 1 c
- diced green bell pepper - 1 c
How to make salsa:
Mix in large kettle; bring to a boil. Reduce; simmer 1 1/2 hours, uncovered. Stir occasionally. Right before 1 1/2 hours are up, bring to boil again and put in jars and seal. Store in cool place.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Sauces, Salsas.
