  • salt - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 3 Tbsp
  • bell pepper - 1 item
  • large onion - 1 item
  • ripe tomatoes - 2 c
  • to 5 jalapeno peppers - 2 item
  • cloves garlic or powdered - 2 item
  • small can tomato sauce low sodium - 1/2 item

How to make salsa:

Chop or blend all vegetables. Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Pour into hot jars. Freeze when cooled. Makes approximately 3 cups.
