Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese - 1 (8
  • chopped pecans - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • minced fresh parsley - 3 Tbsp
  • grated onion - 2 tsp
  • liquid smoke - 1/4 tsp
  • lemons - 3 item
  • cucumbers - 3 item
  • can red salmon - 1 1/2

How to make salmon pate:

Drain salmon; remove bones and skin. Flake the salmon. Add cream cheese, lemon juice, onion, salt and liquid smoke. Mix well; chill overnight. Shape into log; combine pecans and parsley. Roll salmon log in pecan mixture; chill overnight.

For large party, double recipe. Put in oiled fish mold. Unmold on bed of kale with thin slices of lemon and cucumber around mold. Use olive slice for eye.
