Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter or margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • soft bread crumbs - 2 c
  • chopped green onion - 2 Tbsp
  • slightly beaten egg - 1 item
  • can salmon, drained - 1 oz

How to make salmon loaf:

In a bowl, combine salmon, bread crumbs, chopped onion, butter, salt and pepper; mix well. Combine milk and egg; add to salmon mixture and mix thoroughly. Shape into a loaf in a greased shallow baking pan or in a greased 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Makes 3 or 4 servings.
