Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • margarine
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • parsley flakes - 1 tsp
  • sage - 1 tsp
  • raw eggs - 2 item
  • fine chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • crumbled soda crackers
  • fresh salmon or 2 cans salmon - 2 lb

How to make salmon loaf:

If using fresh salmon, skin and halve salmon. Cook in boiling water, about 12 to 15 minutes or until meat comes away from the bone. Remove and cool. Remove bones and flake.

Mix salmon and all other ingredients well. Put in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
