Salmon croquettes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- parsley - 1 tsp
- cup milk - 1 item
- fine cracker crumbs - 1 item
- cups finely ground salmon - 2 item
- onion juice or onion - 1/2 tsp
How to make salmon croquettes:
Melt butter, add flour and combine. Add milk and cook until very thick, stirring constantly. Add salmon and seasoning and chill thoroughly. Form into small rounds about 1/2 inch thick. Roll in crumbs, then in slightly beaten egg and in cracker crumbs again. Chill. Fry in deep fat until brown.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Salmon.
