Ingredients/Components
- salt
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soft bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- finely chopped green pepper - 2 Tbsp
How to make salisbury steaks:
Combine egg, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper. Add beef; mix well. Shape into 6 patties (3/4-inch thick). Broil 3 inches from heat for 6 minutes. Turn and broil 4 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
