Salisbury steak with onion gravy
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- water - 1/4 c
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1/4 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef
- Worcestershire - 1 tsp
- can condensed onion soup - 1 1/2
How to make salisbury steak with onion gravy:
In bowl, combine 1/3 cup soup with beef, crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties. In skillet, brown patties; pour off fat. Gradually blend remaining soup into flour until smooth. Add to skillet with remaining ingredients. Stir to loosen browned bits. Cover. Cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done, stirring now and then.
