Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cracker crumbs - 1/4 c
- sliced mushrooms - 1 to
- hot cooked noodles - 1 item
- egg white, beaten - 1 item
- jar beef gravy - 1 oz
How to make salisbury steak:
In a bowl, combine the beef, egg white, onion, cracker crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Shape into four oval patties. Fry in skillet over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until cooked through, turning once. Remove patties and keep warm. Add gravy, mushrooms and water to skillet. Heat 3 to 5 minutes.
