Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 3 oz
  • mayonnaise - 3 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • chopped chives - 3 Tbsp
  • dry salami large - 1 pkg
  • large tomatoes for sandwiches - 3 item
  • head lettuce, julienned - 1/2 item

How to make salami roll-ups:

Dampen towels (enough to completely cover dry hard rounds). Let stand for 1 1/2 hours or until soft and pliable. Meanwhile, soften, with mixer, the cream cheese. Add mayonnaise, pepper and chives; mix well.

Spread, on softened bread, a layer of salami, then tomatoes and lettuce. Roll up tightly, wrap and refrigerate overnight. Slice into 1/2-inch slices, arrange on platter and serve. Yields approximately 36.
