Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- pecans, finely chopped - 3/4 c
- real butter no margarine - 1 c
- powdered sugar to roll cookies in - 1 item
How to make russian teacakes:
Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir flour and salt together and add to butter mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill dough.Heat oven to 400°. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Cool. Roll in powdered sugar again.
