  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour
  • sifted powdered sugar - 1/2 c
  • soft butter - 1 c
  • finely chopped nuts - 3/4 c

How to make russian teacakes:

Mix all ingredients together. Roll into 1 inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 400° oven for 10 to 12 minutes. While warm, roll in powdered sugar and again when cooled.
