Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- finely chopped pecans optional - 3/4 c
How to make russian tea cakes:
Mix melted margarine, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Blend in flour, salt and nuts. Roll into small balls and bake in 400° oven until firm; don't let them get brown. Roll immediately in powdered sugar. Roll again.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
