Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1 item
- bacon - 1 pkg
- cans whole water chestnuts, drained if big, cut in half - 2 item
How to make rumaki:
Marinate water chestnuts in soy sauce for at least 1 hour. Drain chestnuts. Roll each in brown sugar and wrap each chestnut in 1/3 strip of bacon. Secure with a wooden toothpick. Bake at 350° until bacon is done.Can be prepared early in the day and refrigerated. Use broiler pan so grease drips off.
