Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- rum flavoring to taste - 1 item
How to make rum sauce for bread pudding:
Place milk, butter and sugar in saucepan. Let come to a boil. Thicken with roux made of 1 tablespoon oil and 2 tablespoons flour. Remove from heat and add nutmeg, vanilla and rum flavoring to taste. Serve over bread pudding.Recipe categories: Puddings and mousses, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
