Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- rum - 1/2 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- vanilla instant pudding
- Beat for 30 minutes
How to make rum cake:
Mix everything, except the nuts. Beat for 30 minutes. Grease and flour a Bundt pan. Sprinkle the nuts in the bottom and pour the batter over the nuts. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Frost with Rum Cake Sauce.Rum Cake Sauce:1/4 c. water1/2 c. margarine1/4 c. rum1 c. sugar Boil ingredients for 3 minutes. Pour sauce over cake while hot and cake is still in pan. Let stand for 30 minutes and then remove from pan. (You can adjust the measurement of rum.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low protein.
