  • sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • water - 1/2 c
  • oil - 1/3 c
  • pecans - 1/2 c
  • yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • instant vanilla pudding - 1 pkg
  • light rum - 1/2 c

How to make rum cake:

Glaze:1 c. sugar1 stick oleo1/4 c. light rum1/4 c. water Grease and flour a Bundt pan. Crumble nuts into bottom of pan. Mix remaining ingredients for 2 minutes. Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes.

When done, immediately pour glaze on cake. Cake will settle a little in pan. Let cool in pan for 30 minutes, then remove.

Glaze: Boil 2 to 3 minutes. Pour while hot over cake.
