- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- slices bacon - 4 item
- round steak - 1 item
How to make rouladen:
Salt and pepper steak. Cover steak with bacon slices and chopped onion. Roll like jellyroll and tie securely with string. Dredge in flour. Brown in roasting pan. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Add water as necessary. Makes delicious gravy.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Main dish.
