- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- sour milk - 1 c
- diced apples - 2 c
How to make roman apple cake:
Sift flour, baking soda, salt and 2 teaspoons cinnamon together. Mix all in first 5 ingredients. Fold in apples. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan and top with mixture of sugar, nuts and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
