Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • oil - 3/4 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chopped walnuts - 1 c
  • oleo - 1 Tbsp
  • diced apples - 3 c

How to make roman apple cake:

Cream sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla; sift together baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Add to creamed mixture. Fold in chopped walnuts and apples. Spread into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine brown sugar, oleo, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle over cake. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
