Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- beaten egg - 1 item
- warm water - 1/4 c
- RapidRise dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make rolls:
Mix yeast and warm water together; set aside. Melt butter; add buttermilk. Add yeast mixture to lukewarm liquid. Add salt, sugar, soda and beaten egg. Stir in 1 cup flour. Beat all together and add 2 cups flour. Put dough in greased bowl and leave in a cool placed until 2 hours prior to serving. Roll out and cut. Grease tops and bottoms with butter; fold in half.
