Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- shortening - 4 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
How to make rolled dumplings:
Sift flour and salt together. Mix shortening in flour mixture. Add about 3/4 cup milk and mix. Roll thin. Cut in strips. Store in refrigerator for about 2 hours. Drop in boiling broth, either chicken or turkey. Cook for 6 or 7 minutes without stirring.Recipe categories: Egg, Main dish, One Dish meal.
