Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cream cheese
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- chocolate chips - 6 oz
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 3 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 1 sq
- margarine - 1/2 c
- marshmallows - 2 c
- margarine/butter - 1/2 c
How to make rocky road fudge bars:
Filling:8 oz. cream cheese1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour1/2 c. margarine1 egg1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. nuts6 oz. chocolate chips Frosting:1/4 c. margarine2 c. marshmallows1 oz. unsweetened chocolate1/4 c. milk3 c. powdered sugar Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and lightly flour 13 x 9-inch pan. In saucepan, melt chocolate and margarine over low heat. Add remaining bar ingredients. Spread in pan.In bowl, mix all filling ingredients, except nuts and chocolate chips. Beat 1 minute on medium speed. Add nuts. Spread over bar mixture, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows and heat 2 more minutes.
Meanwhile, in large saucepan, melt 1/4 cup margarine, 1 ounce chocolate and 2 ounces cream cheese. Remove from heat, stir in powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth. Immediately pour over marshmallows and swirl together. Chill until firm. Makes about 36 bars.
