Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cream cheese
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 1
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- chocolate chips - 6 oz
- egg - 1 item
- margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 1 oz
- margarine - 1/2 c
- miniature marshmallows
- cream cheese, softened reserve 2 oz
How to make rocky road fudge bars:
Filling:8 oz. cream cheese, softened (reserve 2 oz.)1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour1/4 c. margarine, softened1 egg1/2 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. chopped nuts6 oz. chocolate chips Frosting:2 c. miniature marshmallows1/4 c. margarine1 oz. unsweetened chocolate remaining 2 oz. cream cheese1/4 c. milk2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Bar: In large saucepan over low heat, melt margarine and 1 ounce of chocolate. Add remaining bar ingredients. Mix well. Spread into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.Filling: In small bowl, combine 6 ounces of cream cheese with next 5 filling ingredients. Blend until smooth and fluffy. Stir in nuts. Spread over chocolate mixture. Sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle with marshmallows and bake 2 minutes more.
Frosting: In large saucepan over low heat, melt margarine, chocolate, cream cheese and milk. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Immediately pour over marshmallow and swirl together. Cool before cutting.
