unsweetened chocolate - 1 oz
box confectioners sugar - 1 lb
miniature marshmallows

1 stick butter or margarine - 1/2 c
slightly beaten egg - 1 item
butter or margarine softened - 1/4 c
enriched all-purpose flour - 1 c
cream cheese, softened save rest for frosting
cream cheese left from filling - 2 oz

How to make rocky road fudge bars:

Filling:3/4 cut of 8 oz. cream cheese, softened (save rest for frosting)1/2 c. sugar1/4 c. butter or margarine (softened)2 Tbsp. flour1 slightly beaten egg1 1/4 c. chopped nuts6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces Frosting:2 c. miniature marshmallows1/4 c. butter or margarine1 oz. unsweetened chocolate2 oz. cream cheese (left from filling)1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar1/4 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

Bars: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter and 1 square chocolate. Stir in sugar, flour and baking powder; then eggs, vanilla and nuts. Spread in prepared pan.

Filling: In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, butter, flour, eggs and nuts. Beat until fluffy. Spoon evenly over bar mixture, then chocolate pieces. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes. Test. Sprinkle on marshmallows and return to oven for 2 minutes.

Frosting: In large saucepan, combine butter, chocolate, remaining cream cheese and milk. Melt over low heat. Stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla as soon as marshmallows are melted. Pour frosting mixture over and swirl. Let cool. Store in refrigerator (because of cream cheese).
